How We Are Different

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. –Mark Twain

Planning for Life

At most estate planning firms, the attorney-client relationship ends when you sign your documents and walk out the door. For us, however, the signing of your documents is just the beginning. We want your legal documents to be the start of, not the end of, our relationship with you. We can best serve you and support your goals as your trusted advisor, rather than merely your document preparer. We want to be there for you and your family, throughout your lives, to offer guidance and counsel as your situation changes and your assets grow.

If your plan does not keep up with your ever changing life, over time, it will cease to be effective. That’s why we offer a complementary plan review every three years for all our clients. But it’s not just your financial assets we’re concerned about. We know your most important assets are the intangibles you’ve created throughout your life. We’ll help you preserve and pass on your love, knowledge, stories, experiences, and wisdom for your children (and your children’s children). We want you to leave a lasting legacy and help your family build wealth – real wealth – from generation to generation.

Building a Relationship

We work closely with you to design a plan that fits your personal situation and family goals. But we don’t leave it at that. We continue to work closely with you even after you sign your documents, to ensure all your assets are properly transferred and protected by your plan. You’ll also have a full 90 days to make changes to your planning documents at no additional charge. And we’ll be available to answer any questions you have about your plan, again, at no additional charge.

We provide family meetings to explain your plan to your family members and/or successor trustees so they’ll understand exactly how your plan will carry out your wishes in the future. And we offer many additional services to ensure your plan is the right plan for you and your family: kids protection planning, pet trusts, and NFA gun trusts, just to name a few.

What to Expect

Our firm is really all about helping you prepare for life. We understand you are super busy, your family is growing, and you need a lawyer who makes things easy, convenient, and efficient. You want to know your plan will work for your loved ones when they need it most. You want to protect and provide for your children, no matter what. And you want to preserve and pass on your family legacy for generations to come.

Your goals are our focus. We are here to help you and your family build and retain real wealth. We’ll maintain communication with you throughout your life and we encourage you to contact us with any questions. We’ll ensure your estate plan grows and evolves right along with you so it will continue to work, just as you intend, throughout your life.

We have a full time “funding coordinator” on staff to ensure your assets are always protected and we offer a unique membership program designed to keep your plan up to date and provide you with access to our trusted team of legal advisors (and you WON’T have to worry about getting a surprise bill just for asking us questions).

Most estate plans are only intended to transfer financial wealth. We believe, however, your financial assets are only a minor part of the overall wealth you possess which is made up of your far more valuable intellectual, spiritual, and human assets. These are the things that are often lost forever when someone passes and we don’t want that to happen to you, or your children.

We’ll show you how to preserve and pass on your wisdom, values, stories – all the things that make you who you are. These will be the things your children, and your children’s children, will value most when you’re gone.

So if you’re ready for a unique estate planning experience that caters to your needs, supports your goals, and provides you with the peace of mind knowing your family is taken care of just as you intend, give us a call.

We look forward to knowing you and caring for your family soon!
