Marc Garlett, Managing Attorney
Marc practices law with one very specific goal in mind: to help other parents, like himself, protect and provide for their children, no matter what. To accomplish this, he designs estate plans that not only pass on financial assets, but that also preserve family legacies (including intangible assets such as wisdom, values, and stories) which empowers his clients and their families to build and transfer real wealth from generation to generation.
Liz Seitz, Associate Attorney
Elisabeth (Liz) Seitz is a Pasadena native. She graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2005. Her background is in civil litigation with an emphasis in construction defect and personal injury. She spent a few years figuring out the hectic pace of litigation and found the negative and contentious environment was not going to work long term.
After moving back to the Pasadena area from Northern Cal, she decided to shift gears and concentrate on raising her two daughters. She balanced her family time with giving back to community organizations that align with her priorities, such as Kidspace Museum, Young & Healthy, and Westridge School (proud alum!). Her wish was to combine her legal experience with her enjoyment of helping others. When she met Marc, she knew his firm was the right opportunity. Estate planning allows her to use her law degree, help others as they think through their future and build lifelong relationships with her clients.
Liz is a friend to many in the area, from childhood friends, fellow volunteers, to parents of her girls’ friends, if you don’t know her yet, you are only 7 degrees away from knowing someone who does know her. And, within minutes you will feel like old friends. She also does love a good cup of tea.
Kathy Palmquist, Client Services Director

She not only ensures the attorneys and staff have everything they need to take care of the clients, but she also works directly with clients, answering any questions and meeting any and all of their needs as they arise.
