Marc Garlett, Managing Attorney
Marc GarlettMarc practices law with one very specific goal in mind: to help other parents, like himself, protect and provide for their children, no matter what. To accomplish this, he designs estate plans that not only pass on financial assets, but that also preserve family legacies (including intangible assets such as wisdom, values, and stories) which empowers his clients and their families to build and transfer real wealth from generation to generation.

 

Kathy Foote, Client Services Director
Kathy Headshot 3Kathy has been a Client Services Director with Marc Garlett & Associates since 2014, having more than 15 years of customer service experience she places a high priority on client relationships and the delivery of outstanding service. As Client Services Director, Kathy focuses on facilitating and nurturing that relationship acting as the key liaison between our clients and the team at our firm.  She enjoys the diverse experience and is rewarded by the friendships and business partnerships she makes.

Anthea Peter, Client Services Specialist
AntheaWorking in close coordination with Kathy and the attorneys, Anthea is primarily focused on improving the firm’s client service system. Prior to joining our team, Anthea worked in administration for the last six years, She enthusiastically takes on tasks and new learning opportunities to better herself personally and professionally. Anthea lived in Sierra Madre for eight years and is an eager contributor to our quaint community.

Bari Vallas, Trust Funding Coordinator
Bari Vallas, Funding CoordinatorSince 2005 (and after 20 years as a practicing attorney and civil litigator), Bari has been developing expertise in trust funding by working with estate planning attorneys and their clients across the United States. Now, as Funding Coordinator for the firm, Bari helps review and organize clients’ asset information, and she works closely with Marc and his clients to ensure that their trusts are properly funded so their estate plans will work as intended when the time comes.
